What a day to be on the water! Weather chilled out better then the forecast showed and we got into the fish early and often. Scott had his family in town as he was celebrating his 40th bday. The crew was made up of Scott, his brother Jeffro, his buddies Elliot and Don (money) and his dad, the legendary keys fisherman, Peezy.
We started off trolling for Wahoo and unfortunately the Wahoo gods were not on our side. So after an hour we switched to chasing birds and bottom dropping. We got into a few gaffer sized mahi and a couple skip jacks. Then we switched to the bottom rigs and caught some nice dinner fair. Mutton, vermilion and yellow eyed Snapper.
